Tui Raven, Yamaji Nyungar (Western Australia) is the Senior Manager Indigenous Programs, Deakin University Library and previously held roles as Curator at the Berndt Museum of Anthropology UWA, Senior Researcher at John Curtin Gallery, Curtin University and Acting Curator Indigenous Art at AGWA.
Tui also operates as a consultant art curator, researcher, and cultural advisor. From 2020 to 2022 she played a crucial role in The First Inventors documentary series about Aboriginal and Torre Strait Islander people and innovations. Tui worked as a remote and on-Country advisor, associate producer and on-screen investigator. In 2023 Tui authored the Guidelines for First Nations Collection Description a joint project between AIATSIS, ALIA, CAUL, CAVAL and NSLA.
