Clarice Stanley is the metadata lead of First Nations Metadata team at Queensland State Archives (QSA). For close to a decade Clarice was a member of the Community and Personal Histories (CPH) unit, within the Queensland State Government to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples access historical records that were created under past Government policies. Her maternal and paternal ancestors share a similar history and it’s their collective stories that is always at the forefront of her mind when carrying out her work in this space.
